Screening of the film "Parvas, Barren Line" in memory of Parvas

Under the light of the Full Moon, in the courtyard of the Ioannideios Library in Chora, the memorial event for Parvas took place on June 30, 2026.

In an evening filled with emotion, in the presence of Dimitris Giannakos's relatives and many friends, memories and stories from his life and journey were brought to life.

Excerpts from Markos Gavras's speech were read, followed by the speech of the director of the film "Parvas, Barren Line", Gerasimos Rigas, and the evening concluded with the screening of the film.

A beautiful gathering of remembrance, which reminded us that people who leave their own mark continue to inspire and unite us.
