Clearing the path from Agios Ioannis Lefkes to Kato Akrotiri Katopola

During the period 2024–2025, the clearing of the hiking trail “Agios Ioannis Lefkes – Kato Akrotiri Katapola”, a path with a total length of approximately 2.5 kilometers, was successfully completed after 14 actions.

This specific path is one of the old passages in the area, which locals used in earlier times for transportation and agricultural activities. Its restoration and return to use contribute to the preservation of the local historical memory and the hiking tradition of the island.

During the hike, the walker encounters various points of interest — natural landscapes, characteristic viewpoints, and elements of human presence over time — where they can pause, observe, and explore, experiencing a journey that combines nature, history, and experience.
